St Christopher Cream Ale remains true to the traditional brewing style of American Cream Ales and delivers a subtle, light bodied flavour that is both refreshing and sessionable. Our Saint Christopher Cream pays homage to Genesee Cream Ale, affectionately known as 'Genny'. Cream Ale was the first ever commercial beer canned in the world on 24 January, 1935, which is actually Scott's birthday (the day, not the year), and was also the first beer canned by HBC. For our Head Brewer, 'Genny' was his fancy beer of choice in the days before the humble beginnings of craft beer in America
