We want to make it simple for you to understand how we collect, use and share your personal information, so please read on to find out more.
We collect personal information such as your name, date of birth, email address, addresses and payment details to register you as a customer, manage your account and process and deliver your orders. When you access our website or apps, we also collect information about your device (e.g., software, browser version and device type), browsing behaviour and location data. Without this information, we may not be able to provide you with our services or products.
We collect other personal information such as your survey responses, opinions, preferences and interests when you share feedback with us. We may also collect additional information when you sign up for competitions, offers or other programs.
We typically use your personal information to:
Depending on how you deal with us, it’s possible we may need to collect other types of personal information necessary to deliver you the benefits of MILKRUN or respond to your broader needs. We may not be able to provide you with the services you require without these details.
We, or our delivery partners:
(i) will require you to provide a valid ID when purchasing restricted items and your ID may be scanned by the delivery driver; and
(ii) may engage third party technology service providers to verify your ID and/or age against government records. Those providers will only collect, hold and disclose your personal information for that purpose.
We, our delivery partners, or any third party technology service providers that we use to verify the validity of your ID and/or age may encrypt and securely store select personal information (such as DOB and ID expiration date) for a reasonable period of time, including for compliance purposes; and will delete your personal information as soon as reasonably practicable where no longer required for any purpose.
Your name, date of birth and expiry date from your ID may be encrypted and retained by our delivery partners for compliance purposes, though the scanned image and any other data collected from the ID will be deleted shortly after your age is verified. We work with a number of partners and service providers, and we sometimes need to share your information (including your personal information) with them to fulfill our MILKRUN service to you and in the course of doing business. These include IT experts, Everyday Rewards (to the extent that you have linked your Everyday Rewards account to your MILKRUN account), payment services providers, delivery service providers such as Uber, and third parties who help us maintain our websites.
We may also share your personal information with social media companies and third parties where we display advertising. For example, we share certain information with digital platforms like Google and Meta, that allows them to show you more relevant ads when you’re browsing third party websites and social media.
Additionally, we may need to share your personal information with other parts of the Woolworths Group for any of the purposes explained in this Notice, as permitted by law or in the context of any legal proceedings to which we are a party. Should we ever explore the sale of MILKRUN, we may need to share personal information with potential and final acquirers.
Computing and commerce are now globalised and consequently we may sometimes need to share personal information overseas, for instance while using cloud computing services.

If you have registered an account with us and would like to opt-out of email or SMS marketing communications and promotions from MILKRUN, you can change your marketing communications preferences by updating your preferences by logging into your account. If you receive any marketing communications or promotions from us via email, you can click on the unsubscribe link in the email to opt-out from that particular communication.
You can also change the settings on your browser or device to manage, disable or block some of the digital technologies used to collect your information. If you do disable these settings, you may find that you have a different or limited experience when interacting with the MILKRUN website or app.
