This wine is rich and juicy, brimming with damson plum and cherry flavours. Medium bodied in style with fine tannins and nicely integrated French oak providing excellent length and structure to the palate.
Deepish red/purple colour, very good for its age, and the bouquet is scented, talcy, with red rather than black fruits. It's quite intense and elegantly-framed, with mild but firm tannins and lively acidity. There's a trace of hardness, although it would be better with food. It's fresh, bright and vital, and youthful for its years.
