Vibrant purple-red. Pure fruited with fresh blackberry, blackcurrant and ripe plum, hints of sage, violets and leaf. Uncluttered. The palate is juicy and smooth, with very fine tannins that leave a pleasant powdery aftertaste, adding to the sense of refreshment. While not overly complex, there is genuine persistence of flavour. Lovely, fruit forward early drinking.
