Our Vigneron Collection brings together outstanding vineyards and our unique winemaking style to showcase the best of each variety.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is named after one of the Barossa's earliest vineyards sites, a Cabernet vineyard planted by the Burge family in the early 1970s.
This fine example of full bodied Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon takes elements from the Barossa Valley floor and the higher cooler Eden Valley. The vineyards were carefully selected and harvested; the fruit was destemmed and fermented in small static fermenters, retaining varietal expression. Once fermentation was completed, the wine was transferred to a combination of new and older French oak barrels for 18 months' maturation before bottling.
The Cabernet represents a pure expression of the variety and the region, drinking well now and rewarding for those who patiently cellar for up to 10 years.
