Bright and youthful, displaying concentrated flavours of doris plum, boysenberry and sweet spice. It is framed by supple tannins and mouth watering acidity, leading to a vibrant and lingering finish

Malbec is such a delicious variety, it is a shame that we don't see more of it. It boasts floral aromas with rims of anise and blueberry, albeit, with a Bordeaux variety's tendency toward gentle seams of hedgerow-scented tannins. Fruit pastille. Not as stiff upper lipped as cabernet, mind you. Pulpier. But certainly firmer than, say, shiraz. This is textbook. I would enjoy it in its effusive youth.
