Store unused mix in the fridge. Use within 3 months of opening.Make 8 fluffy Naans from scratch on a frypan with this Naan Bread Mix (yeast included). Fresh, easy and delicious.
Just add yogurt, oil and water. Kit includes recipes for cheese and garlic Naans.
How to cook: Combine Naan Bread Mix with 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup lukewarm water, 2 tablespoons of oil and yeast from the included sachet. Knead gently for a minute to form a soft dough. Rest covered in a warm place for 2 hours.
When dough doubles, divide it into eight sections.
To roast the Naans: Preheat fry pan on high. On a floured surface, use a rolling pin to roll a section of dough into a 12 cm circle. Dab lightly with oil and place oiled side down on the hot pan. Once it forms some big blisters, turn down the heat and flip the Naan to cook the other side until lightly browned. Remove from heat, brush with ghee or garlic butter and serve hot.
