This one is an absolute cracker. Super juicy and doesn"t hold back on the flavor. This range was created as a tribute to our founder Eric Brand, one of the oringinal ‘BLOCKERS’. This was the name given to the original Coonawara land holders who sold their grapes to larger wineries in the mid- 1900’S. Made in true Coonawara style our Cabernet Sauvignon has a powerful, yet elegant structure, displaying pure dark berry fruits of Blackberry and Cassis, complemented by classic Cedar Oak flavours. This wine is perfect for drinking now but with careful cellaring will continue to age beautifully over the next 10 years.

Here you'll find a wine that sits on both sides of the cabernet fence - a touch of classically leafy, minty varietal influence, preferred by some - juxtaposed with a generous portion of blackberry and currant fruit, preferred by others, nicely complemented by essential cedary oak. How about that old favourite roast lamb with mint sauce for this one?
