Store in a cool, dry place.
Top Loaders: Normal Load = 1/2 cup, Large load/Hard water = 3/4 cup.
Front Loaders: Normal Load = 1/3 cup, Large load/Hard water = 2/3 cup.
- Dissolve the powder in the water flow of your machine before adding your clothes. Alternatively, pre-mix in hot water prior to adding to the wash. For heavy stains or dirt, soak clothes overnight with 1/4 cup of powder per 5 Litres of warm to hot water, then wash normally. Hotter water and more powder will generally give better results when fabrics don't require special care.
- Always rinse clothes thoroughly after washing. Avoid sprinkling powder over dry laundry as this leads to concentrated particles adhering to clothing. Do not use chlorine bleach with Essentials Laundry Powder until after the rinse cycle.
- If water is very cold (below 10°C) lumps may form. To prevent this, pre-mix powder in hot water.
- Delicate fabrics (silks, woollens and synthetics) need special care and should be washed in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. In general, special fabrics should be washed separately by hand with product sold specially for these fabrics.
- When washing colours, separate from whites before soaking or washing and test for colour fastness. If colour runs, wash separately in cold water.
