As with any wax treatment, skin may turn slightly pink for some time after hair removal. After all hair has been removed, rinse ski with cool water and pat dry. Do not use the wax strips within 25hr of bathing, swimming, showering or after sunbathing, as the skin is more sensitive at these times. Do not expose newly waxed skin to direct sun for at least 24 hours. Always protect your skin with sunscreen. Do not wax if the skin is broken, sunburnt or irritated or on varicose veins, moles, warts, eczema or damaged skin. Not suitable for people suffering from diabetes or circulatory problems or loose delicate skin.Keep out of reach of children. Do not wax the inside of the nose or ears, eyelashes, nipples, perianal or vulva/ genital area. Keep Nair wax strips away from heat. Do not wax the same area more than once. FOR BEST RESULTS BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
Please read all of the directions and warning on the pack carefully before use.
•Perform a patch test on a small part of the area you wish to wax
•If skin appears normal after 24 hours, proceed with the full treatment
•The skin to be treated must be clean and dry. Avoid using moisturisers the day before you use the wax strips
•Hair to be removed should be at least 2mm long and no longer than 1cm. Trim the hair before waxing if necessary
•It is important to practice the technique on less sensitive areas like the arms and legs before using on the face and sensitive areas
Step1: Starting at the corners, slowly separate the strips, taking care that the wax contents are spread out uniformly. You now have 2 strips ready to use. Use one at a time.
Step 2: Apply to the area to be waxed, smoothing down over the hair in the direction of the hair growth. Pres down hard on the strip to ensure that the wax is gripping all the hairs.
Step 3: Immediately hold skin taut, and quickly zip the strip back against the direction of hair growth. By removing the strip immediately after application, any temporary irritation or redness will be minimised. When removing the strip, make sure to keep it close to the skin. Do NOT pull the strip in an upward motion.
