Our love of organic food has banana blossomed into something uniquely delicious. Before finding the way into your kitchen, these tear-shaped flowers hang at the end of banana fruit clusters. They are a surprisingly excellent plant-based savoury food, with their gentle flaky texture and mild flavour making them akin to fresh fish. You can use this Banana Blossom in a variety of ways. Our favourite is battered or crumbed for ‘fish’ & chips, but it can also be used in curries, tacos and more! Sounds banana’s right?! Check out our recipes page for some ideas. As our products are not treated, natural colour variation may occur - this does not impact quality. We recommend peeling the outer layer, which protects the inner ‘fillet’ before preparing.
