Bright, youthful purple/red colour. The aromas very young and fresh, spicy and berry-ish, with a definite overtone of carbonic maceration. Sweetness is the first palate impression. It's very grapy, raspberry-ish. It's like a cross between a Beaujolais and a very sweet Lambrusco. A very well-made wine, in spite of the high level of sweetness.
