This grape was given the name Muscat of Alexandria by the Romans due to its distinctive aroma akin to that of musk. True to its name this Sparkling Moscato Rosa has a small addition of Cienna that gives the wine lifted red berry aromas along with freshly crushed grapes and a spicy perfume. The palate also shows these characters with a fruitiness balanced by citrus and a refreshing sparkling sensation.
Multi-Regional Blend
Full, youthful pink colour with a youthful purple tint and a sweetly muscaty aroma recalling Turkish Delight. There's the same lemon peel overtone that this maker's 'white' moscato possesses. The palate is full and very fruity, liberal sweetness underlining it. A simple but delicious pink moscato, whose mouth-feel is quite different to the regular Brown Bros moscato.
