Leveraging their intimate knowledge of the Yarra Valley, the team at Oakridge have hand selected premium parcels of the classic Sparkling Wine varietals, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, in which Natalie has then crafted a preeminent Sparkling Wine. The word Ovata is derived from the Latin word Ovatus, meaning to rejoice, applaud, celebrate. So, when the occasion calls for it. Rise to it. Raise a glass to it. Celebrate it. From the highly acclaimed team at Oakridge (they just can't stop winning trophies! ) comes their first foray into the medium-priced sparkling market. Popping the cork brings forth immediate aromas of bread and red fruit (summer pudding), and then that vital first sip delivers abundant crackle and pop - high-energy stuff, with crispness and vibrancy. We loved the crunchy apple notes, hints of stonefruit and the waft of fresh red berry flavours throughout. The length is formidable.
