Tempranillo wines, both domestic and imported, according to our figures, are a coming thing. You are bound to see more and more on our shelves as we respond to customer demand.
And why shouldn’t we be drinking 'temp', especially when it tastes like this beauty? From a single vineyard south of Watervale, it’s a slush of succulent dark cherries and wild strawberries, lightly spiced, medium bodied and seamlessly carried by softening oak. The wine refuses to remain in your glass. It’s rounded and forward fruit flavour makes it utterly delicious. Try a bottle the next time you are grilling some red meat.
