An attractive floral/berry nose introduces this "Reserve" shiraz from Blue Pyrenees' oldest block. The depth of textural black fruit is impressive, and the wine boasts a fresh and lithe presence with complex flavours building in the mouth. Satin-edged from careful oak maturation, and with a dusting of regional spice and herbs, it's one of those reds that reveals more with each sip.
